Things customers ask before they sign up
How big a library can you handle?
Basic and Premium handle up to 30,000 photos in a single order. If you've got more, drop us an email — we'll set up a bespoke quote and run it as multiple parallel batches.
What happens to my photos after PhotoNest runs?
Your originals stay where they are — we work from a copy. The organised library lives in your PhotoNest account; you can download the whole thing as a ZIP, share a private link, or just browse online. We never sell or train on your photos.
How is the bespoke naming different from generic AI?
Generic AI tools name folders like "European Travel 2018-2020". PhotoNest's Premium tier asks you targeted questions — "we found 240 photos in Germany 2018-2020 with what looks like a name badge — tell us about that" — and uses your answers to name the folder "Mission 2018-2020" instead. That's the whole differentiator.
Can I upgrade from Basic to Premium after my order?
Yes. From your order page, hit "Upgrade to Premium" and we'll re-run the bespoke naming pass + the questionnaire. You pay the difference (£50) and we charge through Stripe.
How does the subscription work?
Pay £15/month, upload up to 500 photos per month, and they flow into the library we've already organised — no re-running the whole pipeline. Cancel any time; your existing library stays accessible forever. The grace period is one full billing cycle.
Do you support video?
Not yet — photos only at launch. Video clustering and naming is on the roadmap; sign up to the newsletter from your account page when it lands and we'll let you know.
How do I get my photos out?
Two ways today: download the organised library as a ZIP from your dashboard, or generate a private share link to send to a friend or family member. Direct push-back to your own cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud) is on the roadmap.
